I recently received a notification that my account has reached a threashold, here is the message :
"You have reached a usage threshold that requires us to confirm your identity as account owner. PayPal needs to do this to comply with regulatory requirements. To prevent any account limitations, please confirm your identity at dashboard"
I submitted all the required documents (phone bill and scanned driving liscense) to Paypal immediately and Paypal asked me to wait for a couple days for them to review the documents: "
Thank you for providing the required information.
We’ll get back to you within 2-3 business days.”
However, I still keep receiving message from Paypal which required me to submit the documents whenere I made a transaction. The issue is that when I follow the link, Paypal said that I have submitted all the documents and told me to wait. I am really confused.
Recently, Paypal limits my account and send me a message to ask me submit documents. I follow the instructions and the result is the same : Paypal website doesn't allow me to upload anythings, it said this :" Thank you for providing the required information.We’ll get back to you within 2-3 business days.”
I am wondering what is really going on with Paypal, what are they thinking ?
Can somebody help me on this ? I am having 4K balance in my account and I really need that money to pay my bank debt. This is my income for several weeks working as an online freelancer.

Great news. My account is Premium. I will request to upgrade my account to Business to see if that can solve the issue. Thank you very much.

Sorry you found my messages not helpful,It is meant for the poster on a personal account,not business or premier account.
I am in US,I have been a Paypal member since 1990s,so it must be 20 years now,I have a premier account and never have any problem sending or receiving money in US dollars.
I have a Paypal debit card and I get a cash rebate for using it .
Some of these emails Paypal sent out are automated canned responses,it will say like it takes 2-3 days to complete the review but in real life ,it could take longer,especially if you are overseas and Paypal does not have a presence in your country.
And you dont always get a person to work on your case,sometimes it is a robot.

Paypal has their own policies in diffirent countries. You can not use US Paypal to suggest for international Paypal account outside the US.

I have the same problem with this, my account since more then 6 year, i am so stress ,,about this, i am already sending all the data identity but no positif respond and the account still same statue,
until now i don,t have any solution,
i am try to contact facebook paypal but no unswer,
very bad service
anybody can help for this or paypal can hear about this ???

I have the same problem with Tiem_Nguyen. I have been using Paypal since 2006 and now they limit my account with the reason: Further to these requirements, we need to collect additional information from you. WOW... Paypal ask me update my nataional ID, proof of my address. Okie, just fine. But after submited all information a month ago, I don't see any action from Paypal. My problem is not solved.
I've tried to contact Paypal via Message Center, but there is no anybody response my message. I'm very disapointed about this service. Now this is time we should consider to use another services such as: srkill.com, payoneer.
I'm thought Paypal is appropriated our money!

What type of your account ? Business or premium ?
Thank for @Sang_N advice, my account were recovered from limitation after I upgraded from premium to business. @phuongnd, if your account is premium, you can upgrade to business and if your account is business, you can downgrade to premium. You will be asked for proof documents but it will solve your case. Good luck.

I hope you can be success by upgrading/downgrading your account type (between Personal/Premier/Business), it will validate the Paypal to review your documents, make sure your documents are legal, and you must correct your business address, home address matching the address in the utility bill. If you have no business license, you should downgrade so that you just verify your name and address. Note that your name must be corrected with your account name, if your name is not correct you must ask Paypal to correct your legal name.
After all information are correct, then you call Paypal and ask to review and if you have no response after 3 days, call again and say "what and why problem with my account and i need to confirm and confirm your documents are legal strongly"
I am not Paypal, i can not help you in the fight against Paypal. You should have patience and try to know what is problem with your account. if you have not good english on the conversation, you should have someone to help
Another way, not not sure, if we have to delete account or cancel then Paypal must allow us to withdraw money to the bank. Make sure the account name on the Paypal and account name on the bank both are the same. If anyone is success with this way, please share with me
