scammer?

So I am listing a vehicle for sale in TN, and the guy is in MD, says sight unseen ok, and will pay my price  plus shipping plus  western union fee. I am to send the extra money to the shipper via western union, because he said," I would love to pay them myself, but there's no nearest western union here and i cant make it to far distance due to the nature of my job and i would have pay them online"

so if, on the chance, that it is legit, the money goes into my paypal acct, i put it in my bank, and then send the car, what happens if he says he never got it?

this is via texting, so hands please... scammer ???

I looked up the txt'd phone number, it is in MD

on a side note, i gave him my name, addy and paypal addy before i came here. is there any danger of credit fraud or bank fraud or or or???

Thanks in  advance

Vehicles are not covered for either buyer protection or seller protection.  You may want to read the PayPal User Agreement for your own benefit.  You are assuming all risks.  You can be seriously scammed.

If you want to sell a vehicle, suggest not using PayPal.  Sell local for cash.
