Unauthorized payment.

Recently I had accidently got a virus onto my computer (RAT/Remote administration tool) the while I was quick to remove the virus I had not thought to check my paypal, 2 days later I have checked my paypal to have seen there was a transaction of £125.

I had changed all security on my account and know the virus is off my computer and reported this issue.

Since reporting this issue earlier today the payment was cancelled and returned as it had been pending due to it transfering off my bank card, although it claims this is cancelled when I have tried to remove my bank card from my account to close my paypal account to keep myself safe from any further incidents it claims their is still pending transactions although the recent transaction had been cancelled (Also there is no other transactions pending or any transactions been made to other in the past 3 months).

Does anyone know the reason of why I cannot remove my paypal card due to pending transactions or anyway I can fix this so I can close my paypal account.

When a payment is cancelled it takes a few days to go back to the card so maybe its not quite reached back yet.?

Ahh I see, I have never had this happen before so I am very unsure and well like anyone else I just want my money back.

I'll probably week about 5 days and see what happens, thank you for the reply.

I have been trying to remove a credit card from my account for two months.  I closed the account after an unauthorized use and the bank/charge card company said It was not unauthorized.  How stupid of them.  I did not buy an air plane ticket in South America.  On appeal, they changed it back to unauthorized and removed it from my card again.  Still, the card is cancelled on my request.  The same card was listed on PayPal and the system there will not let me delete it.  I have given them two other cards to charge to if needed.  Still there and I cannot get it off.  If I could sort it so the bad card dies noit get selected everytime, that would help.
