I recently sold something on eBay, I got severel emails from 'paypal' saying £900 has been sent to my PayPal account. I'm fully aware of the fact that when money is 'pending' it says in is pending on the app. This money didnt. I sent out what a sold to the buyer and haven't had a response since, he provided a number on these fake PayPal emails and I've called it and now doesn't ring. Is there a way of actually getting this money I was supposed to get or am I being unrealistic? Thanks in advance!

He sent an item before being paid, its a civil and not criminal matter.

The person sending the item through mail system did not commit fraud.

The request for money was not through mail system.

Therefore, no mail fraud.
