I know its too late but i got defrauded by a scammers for a total value of 50$, at first i was selling my printer in a local website called kijiji and got a response from a buyer that seems ok. Then i noticed this person wasnt from around here cuz she want me to ship my printer to Alberta and she would paid the cost of the shipping fees and would transfer me the amount throught paypal website and i said ok. Before i shipped the order that day, this scammers send me an amount of 50$ throught paypal and received a confirmation mail from a paypal mail saying that if i dont ship the order she would call the police so i waited a couple hours after sending but nothing was transfered in my account and i even called paypal directly and everything seems normal so i lost my 50$ for the shipment and my printer.

you called paypal and they said the funds were in your paypal account balance??? surely not.

they never tell you to ship before funds are showing in your paypal account balance.

and do you really think paypal would threaten you with the police and that the police would be interested on an internet shopping deal gone wrong??
