If your phone is not compatible, you won't be able to download the app from Google Play. That's how I found out my last phone wasn't compatible. It kinda ticked me off too, because before I bought the phone I looked at the PayPal website to make sure Here would work. All it said was it had to be Android 2.3.1 or higher. The phone was 2.3.5, so I thought I was good.

I can't even find that list anymore, so apparently it's no longer an issue now.

I would love to get the Nokia 928 when it is released later this month - but it is a Windows phone and I need to be able to accept payments on the go! Please, please, please bring PayPal Here(tm) to the WP8 platform!

can i charge credit / debit cards from customers who arent present at the time of purchase with paypal here?

I have read the terms for paypal here and I cant seem to find anything about it. Please someone help?

I know with square you can and you just have to write "online order" or just not sign...

I am trying to get HP ePrint to work with my PayPal Here reader and my Galaxy S2.
I have tried having the HP ePrint app open and without. My HP ePrint never shows up in the printer list in the PayPal Here app.
I have tried being on my WiFi that my printer is connected too. I have tried being off WiFi. I have tried printing from other apps on my phone without issue.

What am I missing?

My Galaxy S2 is running version 4.04 of the Android OS.

I just purchased the Galaxy Centura for the fact that PayPay said that it was compatable with the PayPal Here app. I have a business that I run and would Love to know how I can make this work as quickly as possible - or when the phone will actually be compatable with this phone.... Thank you!!!

I am getting ready to upgrade my phone. I do not want to get an iPhone and would like to stay with an Android phone. After reading so many posts here in the forum, it almost seems like it is a crapshoot as to which Android phones will work. I have seen the list of NON-COMPATIBLE phones (which doesn't seem up to date based on comments here), but would love to hear from some of you which Android phones are currently working and the version they are currently running. I really wanted a Galaxy S4, but from what I am reading here, PayPal Here will not work on it. Any suggestions? I need to get something pretty quick. Oh, by the way, I am currently have an old Droid X (yes, I am behind the times, lol!). It's old but it still works great. Too bad I can't run Pay Pal Here on it. Thanks so much for any advice!

I have been using my PayPal Here account with my iPad for a while now, but thinking about changing to a Windows 8 tablet. Is there a way to use the PayPal card reader with a windows tablet?

Friend of mine has a later model Lumia phone, (not sure which exactly) and I was just wondering if the card reader is compatible with them yet.  I have a Galaxy S3 and when I went to the Google Play area for this on my desktop, it said that my device is compatible.  It better be, I'm running 4.1.1, but you never know right.

Also, I know why you have to have the headset jack, but what's the microphone about?

the microphone portion of the jack is to send data to the app.  the speaker portions are to recieve data.
