There isn't an official release date for general availability yet, but it's targeted for later this Spring. By signing up on the PayPal Here site, you've ensured that you will be one of the first to know as soon as it's available!

I'm glad to hear you're so anxious to get your PayPal Here device. It's a truly exciting new product and I'm really looking forward to seeing it being used everywhere. 🙂

I have Square currently for on site sales. I am looking at other options as it doesnt so far as I knwo save product templates and prices. . I sell on Amazon and eBay. The thing is that I have tried to apply for credit card processing terminals through paypal before and have always been rejected... These services dont reject anyone.

If you guys are truly going to follow in their steps and allow this for all customers then is there any way I can sign up for the beta? I am willing to work with bugs etc. I just dont want to have to reinvent the wheel later on if it can be helped. Also I looked at your app in the video. If that is a real app then it has all the features I am currently needing but lacking with Square.

Please let me know.

I have attempted to download the program from paypal to have payments made with a credit card over my phone. Unfortunately the program will not load. Canyou help?- Ruth

Hi there, Can I travel with the paypal here? And if so will it work when i am overseas say in South Africa and taking credit cards there?

Um, so I just signed-up for something that's not even available?  I was wondering when I would receive it as there was no indication as this other query observed... I find this strange and would've appreciated some mention of this SOMEwhere.  Guess I'll be ordering the square card reader afterall, as I need something right away and thought that having PayPal already it would make sense to use your reader.  Frustrating.

That's pretty funny but I'm still not aware of where to find info. about the shipping time for the reader as the only thing I saw was the offer for a free one upon signing-up...  Can anyone point me to details about the "Free Card Reader"?  Don't I need to provide shipping info, etc.?  I need a reader quickly and wondering if I should go ahead and get the Square, and I don't know much about PayPal Here, yet, don't know if the Square is compatible or needs its own system? New to e-commerce and also a bit confused about the phone app which I just installed and got the card reader offer again; if I installed PayPal on my phone  I prob also need to get PayPal Here for my phone, yes?  Thank you for any useful input!!
