Does this happen for any amount you enter?  Try uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone, then reinstall.  If that doesn't help, please let us know.

I know stated you've spoken with support so you may have already checked this but I just want to make sure that the headphone jack volume is turned all the way up.  That's usually the cause if the reader is being recognized but the card swipe isn't working.  Please let us know if that does or does not help.

Yes. I've experimented with trying different amounts (as you've suggested), and I did already remove the app, and reinstall. Even after removing the battery just to be sure. GPS is enabled the entire time, but it will not get past the charge screen.

I am having the exact same problem with the reader. I tried it on my galaxy nexus 3 and my friends galaxy nexus 4 both with gps, wifi etc volume up. wont read the card. worst part is tried my friends iphone 4s and it woirked! wtf. 

Anyway, i am open to any other hints or fixes.

Now, they allow the app for my old SmartPhone. So, I didn't need to spend $300 on a new phone afterall! Thanks PayPal!

Anyone know why my application keeps crashing at the CONFIRM PAYMENT screen on my HTC G2 on T-Mobile please?

Done it 5 times and is playing havoc with my trading here at the show for which I originally got the Paypal Here facility. Have lost NUMEROUS sales by now!!

Everyone else here is using Square and everyone's payment are going through just fine!

(Bit of a disaster at the moment. Am at that show and stupidly tried calling Paypal and was put on interminable hold. Not exactly funny)

I just started using PayPall Here and it seems like it might work for us.  I have been using in in the itemized mode so I can set the price of specific items, which is great.  When I download the history of all transactions there isn't much info for PayPal Here transactions.  I am wondering if there is a way for the particular items I set up to show up in the "Item Title" column of the downloadable transaction history.  Otherwise it is tough to determine what this payment was for.  Seems like a very simple thing, I'm not sure if I can't figure it out or if there isn't a way to get a bit more info from PayPal Here transactions.  Please help.
