Order pending

Hello Paypal community

First of i want to mention that i am extremely new to paypal and therefor my question might be unsuitable  for this topic.

I ordered something on a webshop on february 3. To this moment, the site says 'awaiting paypal payment'. on paypal it also says 'pending'.

I paid with via my bank account. My previous orders on this website never had this issue.

Can i cancel my order? Should I be more patient?

Was it an eCheck or Instant Transfer?

I'm not sure... I don't know much about paypal. I believe it was an e-check

do you have your credit card linked to Paypal?

if not ,then your payment is e check and it would take days to clear.

when you make payment on the website,Paypal will tell them it is an echeck and they should wait till payment clears to ship.

you can checky your bank account to see if it has cleared, then give it a day.

worth noting is that if there is not enough fund in your bank account, your bank may charge you NSF ,Paypal will wait  2 days and try again,if still not enough fund, your bank, may charge another NSF,

Paypal will give up after 2 attempts.

Thank you for your message Its a regular bank card, not a credit card. My bank account says paypal took the amount off on february 7.

what I mean when I asked if you have linked a credit card  to your paypal account is that if you have a credit card and it is confirmed,Paypal is more confident to advance the fund to the vendor (instant bank transfer) when you use your bank account,as it fails,it can charge your credit card.
