Can I set up auto pay to pay any of my household recurring bills such as ATT, electic bills etc?

No, unless those utilities accept PayPal as payment method. Try bill delivery and payment through your online banking account instead for utilities.

Thanks for input and I'm aware that bill pay methods are abundant through bank and do you levelized billing recurring for power company. Actually I'm mainly searching to see if I can pay ATT with PayPal due to the fact that the PayPal app can be used and somewhere it is listed what phone providers work with the app which I know ATT does. Only reason for question here is I have been unable to confirm this late in the evening thru ATT and thought possibly someone could share as an ATT customer if it was doable.

Where did you get that information?  I did a Google search and do not see where you can use the PayPal app to pay utility bills.

The one way is for you sign up for the PayPal Business Debit MasterCard which draws from primarily from your PayPal Balance and use it like a credit card to pay those bills if those utilities allow debit or credit card payments. You probably can set up your utility to auto charge the PayPal card.  You will need a PayPal business account to sign up for one or if personal account, it has to have received at least $500 dollars within the last 12 months.

Or use the bank account that is linked to your PayPal account to which you withdraw money to, to pay your bills.

I can't find it now but thought it was in send or request and goods and services which brought me down to Household recurring. No matter now and I already have a card that fund transfer is getting an error on. (in another post) Simply needed to know specifically if I could use to pay ATT. No need for big search, I was hoping for a definite answer. Should have shortened it to ---Can I pay a recurring ATT monthly bill using my PayPal balance directly (straight from my balance) I know other options and if my PayPal debit card wasn't incurring a problem I wouldn't be asking. At the moment I have funds in PayPal balance that I need to keep current on bills. Since they have a glitch with instant transfers it has me strapped. I usually keep it fairly drained with instant transfer. It's gotten waaaaay to deep but again thanks for your input. Back to simple Yes or No if someone can give 100% definate. Sorry it got so involved but the Household bills part I saw as I was scimming through looking for quick answers.

The simple answer is no.  I had said no in my first response and unless the utility accepts PayPal and suggested another way.

I don't see much Household Utilities accept PayPal.  They would have to have PayPal Checkout integrated into their websites for that to happen so you would have to go to the utility website to see if they accept PayPal and pay there or set up a PayPal billing agreement with the utility if they offered that, at their website.  You cannot set up a billing agreement at PayPal anyway, only at the company website that has PayPal integrated.

The PayPal Business debit card is different from the PayPal prepaid debit card.  There are issues with transferring money to that prepaid card.  But the business debit card debits money right from your PayPal balance so there is no need to transfer the money anywhere first.  If the utility, like T-Mobile who accepts credit cards for payment but do not accept PayPal but you want to pay with PayPal, you can still use the PayPal debit card (not the prepaid debit card) to make payment because it is a MasterCard and the payment would come out of your PayPal balance.

There is no option in Send & Request for household recurring payments.  I think you may have been mistaken.  I did a Google search and result I got are requests that att should accept PayPal, but nothing about att actually accepting PayPal directly at the moment.

I have never come across a utility company which accept Paypal ,but the Paypal business debit card which taps your Paypal fund backed by bank fund as Sharpie suggested is better,it also give you a 1 % cash rebate if you use it as a credit card.
