First of all I'm a disabled guy who thinks ebay is great! Anyway, I recently bought a LOT of loose actions figures. I paid and received them. All was well. I tried to make a joke with the seller because I paid $10 shipping but the box in actuality cost $9.75 to ship so I said he owed me 25 cents. Added an LOL and said just kidding. Whoa was that a bad idea. The seller went on a tirade how he wanted to $10 I paid back and was reporting me to pay pal. I understand not everyone has a same sense of humor but then he kept harassing me. What did I learn. Don't try to be funny.

Not at all funny to comment about seller polcies--not even when intended to be funny; it's not.
When you buy something, you have a buyer-seller relationship, not a friendship or joking relationship.

This shipping cost squabble is nothing new on Ebay, margin is so thin, every penny helps.
But if postage is 9.75 and he charges you $10,thats very fair, packing and tape and if he is going to the post office, gas and depreciation on his car or himself !
Usually shipping and handling is $1.00 .
Your seller is probably fed up with these complaints as he works so hard to make a few nickels !
just let it go,dont make any more comments,he will go away.

something to keep in mind-
when you pay with a credit card, there is a processing fee and Paypal charges 30 cents.
When seller refunds you whole or partial, there is also a transaction fee,say 25 cents.
Paypal used t o waive that fee ,but not any more,so when your seller refund you 25 cents,Paypal will slap a processing fee say another 25 cents,so he will endup paying 25 cents to refund you 25 cents.
This fee is for processing all these credit card transactions and the money goes to the gateway processor, not Paypal ,for gathering all the transactions and sent them their merry way.
