receiving Ebay payment

Can I receive payment by selling something on Ebay if my Paypal account is restricted? I've sent Paypal 3 documents they requested which apparently are under review, I just want to know if someone sends me money while my account is limited if the money will go into my account or be rejected.

I think it depends on the level of restriction, which you haven't provided.

I'm not sure what level but I can't add money to my account from my bank. I was able to pay for something using my Paypal account though. I've been with Paypal 14 years I think, first time this happened.

higher chance for payment hold if account is limited , as what DP said it still depends on the limitation you got.

OK, my only limitation is that I can't add money to my account.

It does say I can receive money so I guess I can sell something on Ebay and receive the payment from the buyer, the transaction will be completed. Is that correct?

I don't want to put something on Ebay that couldn't be sold due to my restrictions.

Do you really want to add money to your account if there is a possibility of not being able to withdraw it?

What really caused the limitation?  Is the problem going to continue?

1) I can apparently withdraw money, it says I can do that.

2) I believe it happened because I was asked for info when I was considering adding money to my account from my bank and I did not provide it at that time, it wasn't an urgent need. I did this 2 or 3 times, I guess that triggered it.

3) I don't anticipate it continuing, it just needs to be cleared up which I have started to do by sending Paypal the info they want.

I just want to be sure that I can sell something on Ebay and the payment will go into my Paypal account without any problems.

you can still sell items and since you're planning to lift the restriction anyway then there should be no problem.

Just be careful,Ebay is strict with seller not living up to his promise-

buyer wants the item shipped promptly,they dont want to hear any excuses.
