Hi my name is Kenny and after playing one a online gaming server I decied to donate and buy somthing and I chose to use paypal but after doing some research I relized I may need to link a card and a bank. I was gonna buy a $10 paypal card (if they make them) and use it to buy the product after attempting to set it up it said to add a credit card to complete the payment and I was confused, Note I didnt have the money at the time I just want to ask before I spend the money and possibly end up wasting it and since i'm to young and dont have a bank nor a credit card I felt this was the only way.
I recommend not doing what it is you are planning to do, particularly if you are too young where you don't have bank or credit card or seek guidance from your parents for them to supervise this transaction. You might find yourself in more hot water then you are prepared to deal with. And I mean no offense, fella. You have scammers and seedy people who prey on unsuspecting people out there, that's all.
Ive been scammed quite a bit for my age mainly with csgo skins,etc but this is the first time using paypal so I wanted to make sure I wasnt gonna buy a paypal card and have it be useless
it will require you to add card during checkout page because you don't have any balance or funding source on your account.you can skip adding cards or banks. you can try adding funds first using PayPal MyCash card which are available from local cvs pharmacies or rite aids. but it's not a guarantee if the payment you're trying to make will go through or not as paypal will review the risk of every transactions first.
PS: just ask your parents to set you up a student account because there's a high chance you'll get restricted for a minor account as paypal collects SSN via your name and location.
