Issue with refunded e-check

My friend donated $50 to me as an e-check. No longer needing it, I refunded her and she's received the refund. The thing is, this $50 never actually appeared in my paypal balance, as the e-check was held until today. The money that I refunded her came straight out of my bank account and I never actually recieved this $50 (it's still not showing up in my paypal balance even now that I got an email saying that it cleared).

What should I do? I definitely do not want to be out $50.

It may have cleared with your bank,but not at your account level within the bank.

It could take 24 hours for your bank to credit your account.

Did you actually process the refund from the payment transaction detail?

I believe so because when I click on the initial payment of her e check it also shows the refund and vice versa
