Error with Android App

Been using the check deposit system for about three months and been very happy with it.

Recently did a update and keep getting the error:

Unable to update license acceptance  Unknown error (-10005)

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Tried again today with a friend's phone (Motorola Triumph) both with his Paypal account login and with mine. Same error. So from what I can tell this is affecting EVERYONE on ALL devices.

 

I wish they would have just announced they were ceasing check capture rather than making it look like an app glitch.

Same exact issue on Samsung Captivate, Galaxy S with Gingerbread.  Was working fine last week.  Then started giving me the "check history " error.  Then uninstall and reinstalled and started giving me the "unable to update license" error.  Tried to go through their automated telephone help system.  Horrible.  Couldn't get to someone to help out.  Was waiting for a text to enable mobile payments, which should have already been enabled.  Didn't get the text.  

 

Was going to unlink and relink phone.  but sounds like it's a system wide thing and would rather not troubleshoot with a tech that probably hasn't been told what the real problem is anyway.  I'll just wait it out and send my checks to ING.

 

Seriously irritating! 

 

Been waiting on ING to get their check deposit app release.  Still just "under construction".  This is what I get for trying to go without a physical bank.

It's not just an ANDROID app problem from what I've been researching.... I have (2) IPhones and the check capture feature is broke on both of them as well.

I'm learning (from other post in this forum) that the CHECK CAPTURE feature is broken for EVERYONE in PayPal at this time (the post I'm referring to is titled Mobile - Check Deposit error - "Unable to get check transactio​n list"

If it's really down for everyone, wouldn't this be an announced by PayPal, or at least more publicized? I mean, it seems like it might be a newsworthy Google News story "PayPal Mobile Check Deposit System Broken"

There were some issues with Mobile Check Capture that have since been resolved. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the application again.

Uninstall, Reinstall. Same error.

Any update on the situation Olivia?  I'm still dead in the water here with check capture on both my IPhone and my Droid 2 Android phone... I've contacted support but they only tell me that they are "Working on it"....
