I have the same exact problem on an iPhone 4. I tried reinstalling the app to no avail. This is unacceptabel from a service I rely on for cashing checks while out of town.
Any fixes?

Hi everyone.
I have a post on the board about getting an error when I check the status of a check I captured last week. I just got off the phone with PayPal and apparently there is a bug with the check capture feature of the app, which is probably what all of you are experiencing too. The PayPal representitive told me that it's a good idea not to use this feature right now until another update is released for the app.

This error is still occuring iPhone 4 and iPad 3. When will there be a new app for processing checks?

I have previously deposited checks using Paypal Mobile check capture.
Today when I to to Down Arrow > Add Funds > From Check
I get this error every time: paypal "Error. Unable to get check transaction list. Request failed"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled PayPal Mobile.
I am in my acccount.
When I go to Add Funds > By Check, it then gives me a license agreement to Accept.
After Accepting, I always get "Error. Unable to update license acceeptance. Unknown error (-10005)

The deposit from check feature is not working for me either. The service must be down at the moment.

Thanks for responding. The Mobile Check Capture service is down for everyone. The error messages do not clearly indicate this.
I called PayPal last night.
Getting through the menu systems saying "PayPal Mobile Technical Support" took a long time. I was then connected to a woman, apparently in Asia. She couldn't help and then connected me to a man. I couldn't tell if he was from the US or Asia.
He understood the issue and knew that the Mobile Check Capture service was down for everyone. He went off on a tangent about me sending him screen captures of my error messages (short error messages that I could easily read to him...he finally determined that he didn't know how to tell me how to send a screen capture via Android, so he took down the words of the short error messages instead.)
So I did get through. At several points it took longer than necessary to get the right help from PayPal.
Of course this all would have been unnecessary if PayPal simply put up a useful message on Mobile when this service is down.
This could be a great feature. It seems like it's not getting much use if there aren't a huge number of reports on these forums when the service goes down for everyone.

How can this topic be considered solved when the check capture feature (an important feature to many businesses) isn't working! When will this issue get resolved? When is the update happening? That's what needs to be answered so this can be considered solved!
