Browser add-on payment and shipping address

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of paying for browser add-on thru PayPal and would prefer not to have my shipping address available to the add-on developer, because it is clearly not needed  since nothing is being shipped.

But apparently PayPal system shows shipping address anyway.

Any idea how to "hide" shipping address in such cases?

Welcome to the Community!

Whether or not a shipping address is required is determined by each individual merchant when they build the checkout process for their particular item(s).  If you would prefer not to provide a shipping address, you might consider asking the seller to invoice you separately without the shipping address requirement.

Thanks for your reply, but the seller's response was different:

"That's a requirement from PayPal even if "shipment" does not make sense."

Then I would encourage your merchant to contact PayPal to review their integration with us.  One of our associates would be happy to show them how to turn that feature off when creating a button or a checkout.
