Hello, I have a question about seller protection with Paypal. I recently lost my job and need to sell my coachella passes to make rent this month. The only person that has offered me face value for the passes was on the coachella message board and they want to send $ through paypal. I've sold things on ebay in the past but I'm wondering how safe it is for the seller when you do not go through a site like ebay and the buyer sends you the $ directly?
Basically, I want to make sure that if she claims the passes are fake or something, I won't lose the money.. I will be sending the passes insured, delivery confirmation and with signature required. I have proof that I bought them directly from frontgate, they are totally legit, etc. I once sold a brand new MAC brush and the buyer claimed it was fake (it wasn't) and paypal automatically refunded her, she had to send them back but it still made me weary/paranoid. I can't find anything super specific on paypal's website, but if you have any advice or if you can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it, I'm counting on this being my rent money for April. Thank you in advance.
