"You don't get scammed by sending money as goods and services as long as you provide the goods"

You basically said its possible for the seller of the virtual goods to get scammed since the buyer has the option to not hold up his end of the bargain ad theres no protection for the seller but in your quote above you said you cant get scammed?

Virtual items do not fit the definition of goods for PayPay.  When you deal in virttual items you do so at your own risk.  It's that simple.

Hi @165742,

That's a great question!

Merchants would inform a buyer to send the payment as goods and services to ensure they are following our User Agreement. Receiving a payment for the sale of a virtual item as a Friends and Family payment would be a violation of our User Agreement and can result in action being taken on the account.

I hope that information helps.

Thanks,
