Re: PLEASE HELP! eBay Seller lied and 28 days late...

I called eBay directly and they have opened an investigation into the matter.  Hopefully, this is not just some words, but they will actually do it and issue some form of punishment on this company like one month account suspension or something.  They probably have a bunch of accounts and it would not hurt them, but at least it would be some extra work for them.  If it were a US based seller I would scare the crap out of them like I did the last eBay seller that ripped me off.   I don't tolerate this kind of crap.  Just because I am just a little guy does not mean you get to step on me and get away with it. I will make you suffer, even if all it is is a pinprick to the bottom of your foot.  ... View more

The user ageement says nothing about the issue I am talking about.  At least that I can find.  If you think it does, please be so kind as to copy and paste the portion you think applies to my problem.  I would really appreciate.  But, before you do so, please carefully read the nature of the problem I am having and make sure you are clear on what it is.  You would not be the first to misunderstand what I am saying.  ... Okay.  The problem seems to be related to the 1&1 mail servers, because I forwarded the spoof messages through my gmail account and they went through with no problem. ... View more

I sure am glad I am not the only one that has been scammed by paypal.  I am out of my money and cannot get an answer that tells me what happened to it.  Never again...I will join the class action with you. @tooled wrote: "We value your business and want to provide you with the best customer care."   Really, then how about accepting emails, or a phone call - even if its to "peggy".     How about a way to contact your executives that make all this really neat decisions that **bleep** your customers?   Quit hiding behind the computer./     ... Transaction history question?

by jungleexplorer Contributor in My account settings (Archive)

I am having trouble understanding Paypal transaction history formatting.  I have been hoping year after year that paypal would improve their transaction history format to look more like a bank statement, but it seems that it has gotten even worse this year.  I am going across my history for 2010 and my brain is hurting trying to make since out the inconsistent and incomprehensible method in which paypal formats debits and credits. In most cases I am seeing four entries for a single transaction. Three of the entries will be debits and one of the entries will be a credit.  WHY?  But other cases it is only two entries or one entry for a single transaction. I understand that when you make a purchase using paypal there are several things that go on before it is finalized. The same thing is true when you use your bank debit card, but you don't see all that on your bank statement, you just see the final charge or credit.  Is there any way for me to download my transaction history in a format that would be like a bank statement, just showing final transaction amounts?  It tried the download that says, "Balance effecting transactions only", but it just as bad as the other. ... Well, first of all, it's not Paypal making the decision - it's ebay.  ebay has been doing th disputes for more than a year now.  Even if you start the dispute in Paypal, it gets transferred to ebay, in this case, most likely ebay.de (germany).   The consumer rules in Europe are a lot different from North America.  The law is that the seller is responsible for arranging the pickup of the goods - it's really crazy and it's driving the sellers in the UK crazy.   That may be the source of that decision. ...
