I wouldn't know how much the discount is but I do know that you can get exact costs if you went through PayPal.com/Shipping, fill out the information until you see the costs. Just make sure that you don't pay it, though. Here are the steps for single orders: You will need to login into PayPal. If you haven't signed up, you will then need to go to PayPal.com/Shipping and click the "Sign up" button towards the bottom of the page. Once you are done signing up by following the instructions, if there were any, you can now go to PayPal.com/dashboard and click on "Activity" On the next page, you will need to find the customer order/transaction and click on it. Within the "Transaction details" you should see a link to print the shipping label. At this time, I don't have any orders and I don't remember what that link looks like. Next, just follow the steps that are provided through the links until you see the costs.   Bulk Orders/Multi-Order: Login to your PayPal account at PayPal. Go to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_bulk-ship. A new page will open and provide instructions on how to import your transactions or create a new order. Click "Create new." Enter all of the required information and click "Save" and close. Next, click "Print" at the top of the page. Do not click on "Pay & Print." Did this help? Let me know by giving me some kudos and selecting this as the solution. Otherwise, go ahead and reply to this forum with the correct solution. Also, help other's in this community! Enjoy! ... Hello @yangwangliu! Unfortunately, PayPal doesn't cover anything that isn't tangible. So, it doesn't matter if the study material is marked as shipped. If you're really determined to have the transaction marked as shipped, you will have to reach PayPal's customer support at https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/contact. The link for phone support is on the bottom left while the link for email support is on the bottom right. Queries are typically answered in the order received.   You can find Seller Protection and Purchase Protection information by logging into PayPal -> at the bottom, click on "Legal" -> click on "Select your location" to select your location -> click on "PayPal User Agreement" -> If you can, press Ctrl+F and search for "Purchase Protection" for buyers or "Accepting Payments From Buyers for Goods and Services" for sellers. Did this help? Let me know by giving me some kudos and selecting this as the solution. Otherwise, go ahead and reply to this forum with the correct solution. Also, help other's in this community! Welcome to the forums, @1coolme! Are you sure you didn't receive the payment in a different currency? It's most likely that you received the payment in Australian Dollar. If so, there would be an "AUD" either before or after the amount in the "Transaction details." The only way you can tell it's not in United States Dollar is if "USD" is not before or after the purchase amount. Did this help? As far as I know, you would have to change your business name in your PayPal account as your personal name. There isn't a way to change the name other than going into settings. Here's how to change your business name in the settings: Log in to your PayPal account. Click on "Settings" or the gear icon on the top right. While you're there, click on "Profile and settings." On the next page, look for "Business information" with your business name on the right. On the right of that, click on "Update" and you should be taken to your PayPal profile page. Click on "edit" on the top right. The next step is to click on "change" below your business name. The following page is where you can select the reason as to why you need to change your business name. At this point, go ahead follow the pages until you're done. Good luck, @madiirace! $700 is a lot of money, @Harezp. I'm sure that you learned from this is that you should be more strict with your rules for large purchases - especially orders, not items, that are over $30.   As long as you sent the item to the shipping address, that is located in the "Transaction details," and file within 180 days, you should be eligible for Seller Protection - considering that the User Agreement does not say anything about transactions that were "Pending." You can find Seller Protection information by logging into PayPal -> at the bottom, click on "Legal" -> click on "Select your location" to select your location -> click on "PayPal User Agreement" -> If you can, press Ctrl+F and search for "Accepting Payments From Buyers for Goods and Services." Good luck! Did this help? Let me know by giving me some kudos and selecting this as the solution. Otherwise, go ahead and reply to this forum with the correct solution. It is true that PayPal does have transactions on hold for 21 days or less and I can verify that you are covered under PayPal's Purchase Protection if you pay through a PayPal Invoice. The Purchase Protection program is also covered for purchases sent as Goods or Services. However, any other type of payments, such as PayPal.me and payments sent as Friends and Family, aren't covered.   As for how long you are covered varies by country and by item that's to be purchased. You can find the information by logging into your PayPal account -> towards the bottom, click on a link that says "Legal" -> click on "Select Your Location" to select your location -> click on "PayPal User Agreement" -> if you can, press Ctrl+F to search for "Purchase Protection" or you can manually search for it. Hello @Krzkt! There isn't a way to ship through PayPal's Invoice but you can go to PayPal.com/Shipping. There are no monthly fees or surcharges and you can use Multi-Order to print multiple USPS labels at once at https://www.paypal.com/us/?cmd=_bulk-ship! Here's how to use it: You will need to login into PayPal. If you haven't signed up, you will then need to go to PayPal.com/Shipping and click the "Sign up" button towards the bottom of the page. USPS customer service should have told you this but it seems the employee or employees didn't know. Anyways, there are a few ways you can find the packages: File a claim through the shipping carriers own website, in your case USPS.com. You can file a claim there or, if you didn't receive a tracking number, ask your local shipping carrier offices and USPS offices to look for it - you should ask your customer to do the same for their local offices. Sometimes, if it's worth over $25, it will be sent to USPS Mail Recovery Center if the package was sent without a correct address. You can fill out a form 1000 at your local post office and the workers will look for the item for you at the Mail Recovery Center. From time to time the Mail Recovery Center conducts online auctions at GovDeals.com - you should watch for the items there in case it shows up there. You should also follow the links located at USA.gov/Buy-From-Government.   Did this help? Let me know by giving me some kudos and selecting this as the solution. Hello @nitewar95! Fortunately, you can wait to ship the items once the funds are available - which, for held funds, it would be available in 21 days. It can be sooner than 21 days if you follow the instructions sent to your email from PayPal. You should ship the item if PayPal says that it's ok before the funds are available - that information is within the "Transaction details."   Also, PayPal will always hold your funds if the payment you received is unusual. Example: selling a high risk item, such as a boat or house, when you normally sell T-Shirts or you have a order of $1,000 when you normally have a order for $24. I would strongly recommend contacting the buyer and let them know what's going on including that you won't be able to ship until on or after the 21 days. Good luck! Did this help? Re: Shipped Before E-Check with F&F

Hello @Cmk77. That's gonna hurt! Unfortunately, an eCheck isn't covered through PayPal's Seller Protection until the funds have cleared. It's also not covered if it's sent as Friends And Family and, just letting you know, that not selling items as Goods And Services or as a PayPal Invoice is considered as avoiding seller fees - which wouldn't be good for you.   With the order, at this point, you can: Request a package intercept through a shipping carrier - it doesn't have to be the same carrier. Use PayPal.com/Shipping (Single or Multiple orders) or PayPal.com/ShipNow (Single orders) and send the shipping label to your customer. If you're able to contact your customer, discuss the shipping information, such as shipping method, shipping costs, with your customer and send them the amount. See what return services the preferred shipping carrier has. They also have return services for future orders, such as USPS's Priority Return Service.   If you're not able to do any of this and the customer doesn't respond within a reasonable amount of time, you should go to the police and tell them that a product has been stolen from your store - as that's what it is. Also, make sure you're following your countries laws and local laws, such as having a seller permit during the sale, before you report this to the police. Good luck! Did this help? Let me know by giving me some kudos and selecting this as the solution. Otherwise, go ahead and reply to this forum with the correct solution. Also, help other's in this community! Enjoy! ...
