Hi.   Just send Paypal a bill for intrest on money they are holding, 2.5% per day, i am not causing trouble but i have always said this is wrong and shouldnt be allowed, my other argument with this is the money in theory is not yours until the customer has recieved the item and if this is incorrect then who's money is it ??   Also, this is the best bit, talk about eBay and Paypal tripping them selfs up... eBay selling rule number 1 ONE.   DO NOT SEND ANY ITEM UNTIL CLEARED PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN RECIEVED   The money the buyer has sent you is on hold so in effect its not yours so how can you send the item, THE FUNDS ARE NOT CLEARED.   Just tell you customer to contact Paypal because the wont release there money to you, put the ball in the buyers court, it works.   There is no way i will take this of anyone especialy a bank who charge fee's for payment only for them to tell you how you can and cant run your business and hold your money.       ... Thanks Dian For the reply.   There is one thing that i cant get my head around and would if possible like a streight answer.   PayPal and eBay are in a way one in the same, they bounce off one another, so,   eBay and your selfs (PayPal) stipulate that under no curcumstances should a item be shipped without cleared fund and the words cleared funds means funds available.   If payments are in a pending state or on hold then these funds are NOT available so, cant be shipped, personally i am just going to tell my customers that there payment is on hold and paypal is not releasing it, please contact paypal to resolve the issue, if you dont release the money after the buyer has contacted you then i refund the money and we all loose out, me, the buyer, paypal and ebay... Listen every one, its not going to get you anywhere.   1. the money is not your until its cleared 2. tell the buyer that paypal will not release THERE money 3. let the buyer email or telephone paypal.   the buyer takes this as a personall matter and it is.   ebay state dont send your item until the fund have cleared, its there in black and white, so dont do it, let the buyer sort it.   they will realise that its not working when the get 100s of buyers complaing ... been having a email argument with paypal for a week now about this, but be warned they can hold your buyers money even outside of eBay, i use the word buyers / customer because until the funds are cleared then it still the buyers money and not yours, eBays own words are -:   The dispatch (or handling) time is the number of working days the seller will take to post the item after receiving your cleared payment. A payment is considered 'cleared' after the money from the buyer has been deposited into the seller's account. If the buyer pays by PayPal, the payment may clear immediately. However if the buyer pays by cheque or postal order, it may take several days.   It gives no mention to payments put into a pending balance.   What i have done is a little bit dangerous but seems to be working, i have been selling online for a long time and have 2 eBay accounts one business and one for personal selling, my personal i have had for years with a feedback of over 100 and %100 with excelend dsr but i clossed that account because they ended up holding money even from outside eBay, more temper than anything, anyway i still have this account as business but only 14 feedback but sold 18 items, i also sell from eBid and my own site but they still hold money even from my site so i have started to tell my customers that paypal will not release your money so i cant ship to you, they are not impressed and within hours they email me back saying the funds are now available, personally i couldnt give a hoot, if they dont release the money i refund the buyer and must say the buyer is not impressed at all. ... Hi.   Yes it is verified, i have had the account for years, in a way i agree with what paypal/ebay are doing but i dont in another, its to protect the buyer from scams or none existing items but, if your a registered business they should have no right to hold money that has been recieved from a buyer, this is a contract between the buyer and the seller and nothing to do with paypal.   If they have the right to hold money from my own website and they intend to do so then they can stuff there online bank, i bet they didnt hold money from sports direct or any other company that now uses paypal. ... Hi.   This is aimed mainly at any Paypal mods out there.   My website goes live in 2 week and has around 1500 items on there, at least 60% are dropship, i also list on eBid and Ebay (not for long on the latter, makes me think WHO'S running MY business me or them).   My question is -: when i sell something on my own website will there be payment holds, if so how on earth do i run a dropship business. ?? If there is a problem with any type of payment or return issue then surly its upto the company to resolve this, if you are in business then this should be a priority and if it is not then you shouldn't be in business, i dont like the thought of MY money being put on hold from MY website.  ...
