I got a new internet provider yesterday, and am in the process of getting all of my business stuff switched to my new email address before closing the account. I didn't want to change my paypal account log in email, because I would have to disconnect PayPal on my website, change it over, and then reconnect. So, PayPal explained that I didn't need to do that anyway. That I could add another email address and make it my primary email address and keep my old, soon to be obsolete, email address on there as a secondary email so it could continue to be my log in address and allow my payments to come in from my website. This seemed to be the answer I was looking for, and after changing my old email address as my secondary, and my new email as my primary in paypal, I tested it out by placing an order on my website to make sure that it worked. I needed to make sure that: 1) the payment and order came through to PayPal since the email On the website was now my secondary in paypal, and 2) that I received my payment notification from PayPal once the order was placed on the website and payment was received. Everything came through like a charm! And, for the rest of the day the notifications came through my new email address just fine,- but then today ( friday, Feb 2), I didn't receive ANY notifications on my new email when orders were placed, and they didn't go to my old email either (which is now my secondary email). Is PayPal having an issue at the moment, and it's just a coincidence that it is day 2 of my new email address? Or is there something I need to do to correct this? if that's the case, it just would be super strange it worked fine all day the first day after changing it! Anyone else not receiving notifications?? Anyone know a fix?
