My  ASP website runs on a shared Windows xxx server and uses a SQL Server database.    The IPN Listener is written in vbscript.   It does NOT perform the initial IPN confirmation step advised by Paypal ie it should return an empty HTTP 200 message.  (I'm pretty sure this is because it wasn't needed when  I wrote in about 12 years ago).   Whatever the reason, it  worked perfectly until recently.  For the last 2 months a tiny proportion of IPN activations result in the listener timing out and Paypal receiving a HTTP 504 error (timed out).         As a first step I need urgently to add the IPN handshake.    Is there a Vbscript  code snippet available for this?   ... Several years ago I added a logo to the payment page that customers use when buying from my website.  Now I need to chnage it but I cannot find anywhere on the Paypal site to do it.   Any suggestions?  ... View more

I am a merchant, selling digital content online.  Today my website has had around four IPN delays, of around 3 hours.  Currently I know of one transaction from 2 hours ago for which no IPN has been received and it does not yet show in our Paypal account, even though later transactions do appear.   Anyone else with this problem?  ... I am set to to receive emails notifying me of payments on my website.  Since about 03:00 UK time today 13 June about there have been about 10 transactions on the website for which no email arrived.  All others worked as usual. ... View more

My wesbsite stopped receiving IPNs around 15:00 GMT today 24 May.  Still getting email notifications so processing transactions manually.  Yesterday IPN was fine but emails were delayed!  What is happening at Paypal??  This is killing me. ... View more

Paypal automatically emails a "Notification of payment received" email whenever a customer makes a purchase.   I have not received any since about 12:30 AM GMT Feb 27 2015. (13 hours),  In that time there have been 19 payments.  IPN messages from Paypal to my website are working.   ... View more
