Since I'm a glutton for punishment and I was curious if Paypal's customer service through email was any good I sent several more emails and kept getting told there was no reason for the review and that I should contact the buyer who had no idea since it was Paypal that was holding up the payment. Huge negative marks for Paypal contact through email. It's worthless, especially since you can't actually follow up with the customer service rep. I finally called Paypal and got someone to look at my account and they could find absolutely no reason for the hold at all. No notes, no nothing. She released the funds immediately. The transaction was for $8 so it was no sweat to test Paypal customer service. I give customer service email an F and phone email an A for speed of picking up my call and taking care of the problem. Overall I say no passing grade since there was no reason for the hold ever given not even one note.
