I completed a transaction on EBay, got an email from Paypal saying payment was made, checked the site and confirmed, shipped the item and then later noticed on my account the payment is being hel for "review." I never received an email indicating the payment is being held or is under review as Paypal says they will do. My interaction with customer service has got me nowhere. I cannot get an explanation for the review nor why I did not get a notification of the hold or review. There is no reason I my end to hodl the payment, it is entirely an issue with the buyer and Paypal. I was actually told to email the buyer but they simply respond they made the payment and I can't open a dispute with EBay because they show a payment made. If Paypal would simply cancel the payment I would have recourse but as of right now Paypal is interfering with my transaction. This whole thing could have been avoided if Paypal would have informed me of the hold. My favorite part of my interaction with customer service is the bottom of the email where it is suggested I tell my friends about the service Paypal offers...belive me I will.
