I have the same issue, but I have received 26 of them since September and have refunded them and blocked further transactions with the person. But they keep coming, from different people each time. I'm really tired of it.

Since September, I have been receiving unsolicited money from strangers (in Bolivia) into my PayPal account. I am refunding and blocking each transaction, but it really is out of hand and I'm needing a better solution. I contacted PayPal CS when it first started and they have been of little to no help. While I was discussing my options with CS, one of those first payments resulted in a charge-back and a fee to me from PayPal. I really need a solution that does not require me to immediately refund, as I plan to spend some time abroad without daily access to internet. Does anyone have insights?

There must be a new scam - I have also received funds from strangers, sometimes on a daily basis or several in a day. I had contacted PayPal when it first started in September/October, but they couldn't really give good advice, as one of the payments resulted in a charge-back with fees against my account. I'm very tired of it and wish I could just block my account for deposits for now.

I have also received random funds from people in Colombia between $.19 and $9.99. I contacted PP support who said I could either keep it for now or refund it. I have a bad feeling and opted to just leave it alone for now. I don't know if they're testing stolen cards like this, but it reeks of scam. I have never done business with anyone in Colombia and have no idea what's really going on
