I had this same issue when I started a plan with Bloomingdales. They cancelled my order soon after submitting the Pay in 4 & I had a pending status for almost a month before it just disappeared on its own. I understand the whole COVID pandemic that’s been going on, I’m a firm believer that’s for sure. But I feel as though PayPal is dragging it, as far as their customer service goes. All big companies (Amazon, eBay, etc) has their customer service up & running and we are able to talk to a rep regarding any issues we have. PayPal is holding onto folks money that really need it the most & they respond to people every 3 days via the message center if there are any discrepancies. I’m on a current 72 hour transfer hold after a sale on eBay & due to all the threads I’ve been reading, I stand unsure if I my funds will be released within that time frame. I made a sale on eBay (11/25) & I know the whole procedure with waiting for funds to be available. Initially it was a hold by eBay, fine. Got the email saying my funds are now available (11/29), I said let me do an instant transfer for the small fee. Now there’s a 72 hour wait I came across. I’ve seen similar threads across this forum regarding this matter but not necessarily the answer I’m looking for. What exactly do they review in their process of reviewing information for a bank transfer? People across the forum have been running into problems such as still not receiving their money even after the 72 hour wait. Will I go through the same pain & suffering? Will the funds somehow come early? Starting to think I should’ve just withdrawn the funds at a nearby atm. ... View more
