@kernowlass Hi, I found your last advice very helpful and would appreciate it if you could help me out a little here. I had sent money to a friend 14 days (10 business days) ago via PayPal with my bank account as the funding source. I can see that the money was taken out of my bank account 2 days ago (15 July) but the payment still says "pending" on PayPal. Do you have any idea where the money went?

Yeah I'm frustrated with PayPal at the moment too, I sent a transaction of a small amount and the payment still says "pending" on the PayPal app, although I can see that the money has been taken out of my bank account. It's been 14 days since I made the payment so it's absurd that the money still hasn't gone through. Made a separate post regarding this problem in the community but no response yet. You got any idea? Been trying to reach PayPal customer service but apparently everything is closed because of covid-19?

I had sent a friend a small amount of money via PayPal with my bank account as the funding source on the 3rd of July. The echeque estimated completion date was the 9th of July. I can see that the money has been taken out of my bank account on the 15th of July, yet on PayPal it still says transaction pending. Today is the 17th of July. I would appreciate it if somebody could help me understand where the money which was taken out of my bank account has gone ?

It's been over 3 business days now that I've sent money to a friend via PayPal using my bank account as the funding source. My friend had received the money instantly, however, there is still no record of the transaction on my bank account yet. Would appreciate if anybody could provide some clarity on what is happening?

@kernowlass Thanks again, just one last query. I only have a VISA debit card as I've mentioned earlier. I'm assuming when you say the money will be taken from my bank account, you mean it will be taken from the money I have in my debit card right?

@kernowlass Thanks for replying. I think I understand what you mean however what does the term "eCheque estimated completion date" mean? Do I have to do anything or will the money automatically be taken away from my debit card and be transferred to my friend?

I have sent money to a friend through the PayPal app however in the "Your Activity" section it says that the money is still pending and says "eCheque estimated completion date is 9 Jul" (I transferred the money on 3 Jul). What does this mean? I also don't see any money transactions from my actual HSBC bank app. When will I be able to see the money being taken out from my bank account? (I have a VISA debit card) I am new to PayPal and am really confused about what is happening and would appreciate some help to understand.

What does "Money sent - Pending" mean?
