For the past couple of days I have been making purchases through my PayPal account and gradually my account has become harder and harder to use. At first, I tried linking a card that needed to be verified via text. I never got this text and and I tried doing it twice. After the second attempt and it still not working, I tried again, and this time PayPal pretended that it had been linked to another account already which shouldn't be true. It proceeded to not let me add it. I tried a new card, which worked, for one purchase only. Fast forward to the main issue, I can no longer access any of my credit cards when attempting to make any purchase. Whether it be sending $1 to a friend to making a purchase on eBay. It'll only show my bank account as a payment option and offers to let me add a card for the transaction, which never works either. I actually contacted PayPal support and they told me my account was restricted by the security system because it was concerned about unauthorized money being sent. Mind you, all of these payments I tried sending were authorized and I have never had a charge back problem in the past. The message center said that this precaution couldn't be lifted by them and that I should call customer care, which is not available right now because of COVID-19. I was hoping I could find an answer in the meantime for this issue. Is PayPal able to lift this block or does it ever go away on its own? Thanks.
