Hi there topmasterchief,   You should be able to send a personal payment from your balance to your new account without adding a UK card. It may be that your balance is not registered in the currency that you are trying to send the personal payment in and this is why you are being asked to add a card to send the payment.   In this case I would advise that you attempt to send the payment in the currency your funds are currently denominated in. Being a large amount I would advise that you ensure that you are covered under our buyer protection policy when completing this payment.   PayPal Buyer Protection covers you for items that you have bought in the event that you do not receive your item, or the item is significantly not as described. You are eligible for PayPal Buyer Protection if:   You didn’t receive the item or the item is significantly not as described. You used PayPal, an eBay invoice or clicked the ‘Pay Now’ button to purchase the item. You paid for the item with one payment (items purchased with multiple payments are not eligible for Buyer Protection). The claim is for tangible, physical goods that can be posted and are not prohibited by PayPal. Payments for intangibles, services, licences and other digital content are not protected You file a dispute in your PayPal account via the 'Resolution Centre' within 45 days of the payment. Hi there zarazino,   PayPal is country specific so when you move to another country you need to close your old PayPal account and create a new account using your new address.    If you have addresses in both countries, you can keep your old PayPal account and create a new one, but only one of your accounts can be a Premier or Business account.   Hope this helps!   Siobhan ... Hi there dave1968,   Unfortunately it sounds like you may have received a spoof email fraudulently asking you to send the item. PayPal will never ask you to ship an item before the payment is in your PayPal balance.   You can forward this email to spoof@paypal.com. Hi there mozart999uk,   Your buyer will need to send the payment in GBP to avoid a currency conversion at your end. Hi there mudpluggermark,   You can only cancel an unclaimed payment that has a ‘Cancel’ link next to it under ‘Order status/Actions'. If this link is not available this means the email address the payment has been sent to is registered to this sellers account but may need to be confirmed. In this case the seller will need to accept the payment. Your payment will automatically be cancelled if the seller does not accept it within 30 days of the payment date.   Hope this helps!   Siobhan ... View more
