You did not note the extreme loss of security that paypal currently experiences due to paypal now allows login with NO password or challenge questions answered AT ALL! All that is needed as the single 6 digit code from the cell number paypal has on file to login and make charges to a paypal account.   So if you lose you cell phone your paypal account is WIDE OPEN to whoever now has your cell phone. There is ZERO security in the case of a lost cell phone today with paypal.   If you experience ID theft and the your cell phone SIM is slammed to a another SIM card again you paypal account become WIDE OPEN to the ID theft. I had the same problem with Samsung Galaxy a13.  IN Settings, Notifications, Do not disturb. (bottom of screen) Found the problem was in settings ADD schedule, Do Not Disturb. Turned it to off, then, in for how long. I just clicked on Ask every time, problem solved.   ... View more

Thank you! I didn't know Escrow.com has been around that long. I also have an offer on a vehicle, the buyer wants to use PayPal and have the car shipped to him, and after reading all these stories about issues with PayPal, I've told my buyer either we use escrow.com or he doesn't buy the car. ... @octavia_1    Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country. You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things. You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this. ... View more

I checked out as a guest on the merchant website, but it was a merchant I'd never purchased from online and neither has my husband. I used my own cellphone, not a shared device, and his email isn't in my account nor is my email in his account.   I really don't understand at all how this could have happened. He got a notification the day I purchased the items, and one the day they were shipped. I have not received such emails, but I am getting the ones from the merchant so I know it was my email I used on the order.   How bizarre!!! ... View more

Hi @zakharfsk ,   Welcome to the community.    I can see from your profile you are located in Ukraine. You should be able to receive funds in this case. Can you make sure your PayPal account is verified, that your email address is confirmed and that you have a verified card on the account? Hi @masbts,   Thanks for reaching out here on the community. It sounds like you have opened your PayPal account using the wrong country. There is no way to change a country once the account has been created so you will need to close this account and open a new one using the correct address details.
