I received payment for an item, which I then posted. Buyer said it never arrived and lo and behold it was returned to me as "not known at this address". I have contacted buyer but no response so I have decided to refund him. However, paypal have placed a hold on the funds while ebay investigates. How can I refund him? can paypal lift the hold?
It sounds like there has been a dispute opened on this transaction through eBay, to refund this amount you will need to log into the resolution centre in eBay and issue the refund through the claim.
If you are unable to process the refund through the case I would advise that you contact eBay's claims department directly.
