The 'Unclaimed' status can be because the payment email address, which is passed to PayPal by eBay's checkout system, is not registered with PayPal. You can view the email address used in your listing by clicking the 'Sell Similar' link, in the 'Actions' column of your eBay 'Ended Listings View'. If the email address is incorrect, but can be added to your PayPal account (you can have up to 😎 and confirmed, then you will receive the payment without troubling the buyer again. Otherwise, you will have to ask the buyer to cancel the unclaimed payment, and give them the correct email address - so that they can re-send the payment, using PayPal's 'Send Money'. The buyer will still be eligible for PayPal Buyer Protection, if they select 'Goods' as the purchase type. The buyer can include the eBay item number and item title in the message that accompanies the payment. Another possible cause of this problem is if you have recently changed your PayPal email address, but haven't confirmed it. If that were the case, then simply confirming the email address would release the payment.
