Welcome to the Community!
It sounds like your seller may have had an issue with their auction details, and is asking you to send the funds manually. When this happens, don't use the eBay checkout, because it will route the payment back to the old email addrress.
Instead, log in directly to your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com. From there, click on "Send Money." In the form provided, just type in her email address, the amount you need to pay, and you can send the funds over.
Alternately, you can ask the seller to use PayPal's Request Money feature to request payment from you (you'll need to provide the seller your email address for this option). You'll then receive both an email from PayPal containing a link you can use to pay them, or you can view the request in your PayPal History and pay from there.
Thanks,
Adrian
