The big lie

"We value your business and want to provide you with the best customer care."

Really, then how about accepting emails, or a phone call - even if its to "peggy".

How about a way to contact your executives that make all this really neat decisions that **bleep** your customers?

Quit hiding behind the computer./

There appears to be no sense of decency anymore with a few exceptions. What used to be conidered morals is now considered "hangups" or "baggage". I remember a time when people were held accountable for unethical behavior, but these days it is considered acceptable to run over people to get what one wants. " I want " has become paramount for most people. I am looking forward to leaving this rotten crew.

I do have a problem with PayPal holding the money for 21 days. I have been an Ebay member for almost 10 years and have a 100% feedback and have worked hard to keep that feedback. I don't get the part that because there are a few scammers, as there are everywhere, that you punish everyone. This is absolutely ridiculous. I honestly just had 3 items sell and I can't even tell if I have been paid, have not been paid, or what the status is. Why? Were there no scammers on Ebay before? The only thing I can see is PayPal covering its own **bleep** at the buyer and sellers expense to make sure they don't take the hit. So who wins with this new system, PayPal. Sorry PayPal. No more will I go thru this crap for a $5.00 item. You win. I quit!

Hmmm,  more proof against them trying to tell me that eBay and Paypal are not really the same company . . . After I emailed Paypal, I've gotten automated responses from eBay.

And what protection is Paypal giving us?  The only chargeback I've ever had against me was 1 time that a Buyer used a stolen credit card - and it was reported 6 months AFTER I shipped the item.

Wow, there's someone else in the world that thinks like me. Seems the world has gone mad for money n material things, what a shame, us honest folks that have some pride and dignity are always at a disadvantage when dealing with the less than honorable folks. One thing for sure, figures never lie but liars often figure.......

I couldn't agree with you more! You, I, and a lot of eBay/PayPal customers see the huge gaps between PayPal's words and their actions. They are anything but the world's most loved way to pay and get paid. That claim comes from - who else? - PayPal - not it's world-wide users. They consistently skirt the thin line between honesty and dishonesty in both words and actions. While there is a lot of room for improvement, all of it is in the direction of being more honest and straighthforward in its advertising and dealings with its customers. Given PayPal's track record, that kind of improvement will never come, because it does not benefit or profit PayPal. Not everyone is so easily fooled except, perhaps, PayPal management.

hello, your words are so well written,i just wanted to say that,as aan angry person/victim i tend to yell scream and do hate videos aginst paypal and advise people to not sign up for any of there promotions or deal or clubs or anything they say will benifit you, they are all to sell your info to some unheard of new partner scam of thers, paypal mastercard scam, bill me later scam, king proxy scam,unverfied/verfied scam/buyer seller resolution scam, and on and on,if yall are not aware of my list basically aplying to any of those will get your credit affected and will get your paypal account restricted as they make you send them copies of you social security card, and all there cost saving programs/credit cards are a tottal scm that people seem to pay pay pay to get accounts closed, ect.dont get there money market account either, mastercard, bill me later, thes are scams, deal with your real bank and dont give paypal acces to it,give them there own credit card or a diferent card than is accesable to your bank, dont allow paypal to have any ability to influence your buisness, abide by your own financial policys and always imediatly file suite against paypal and all costomer buyers that are fraudelent,do not use or rely on paypal, you will lose your real legal rights in the real world of legal rights,  calling paypal is easy now, there number is in contact, you will get a code punch it in,you do not need a code if you are on file with account you can use your account # you will wait 15 minutes, slso keep caling if employee tells you bull,a diferent employee will make up some other bull and it might be in your favor, all problems with paypal are self induced by rhem so chances are if yuor calling complaining it is because of something they did,not costomer buyer related, they can push a button ,problem solved, peace

I think you are right. It looks like dishonesty, smell like dishonesty, and haveing had the same experience on two ebay purchaces, thru paypal, NOT resolved, and losing a few hundred dollars, which paypal and the seller divided between them. I surely agree they appear to have some larger enterprise behind the scenes. Sucessful criminals opperate just inside the law, and work the system to milk us of resources. RUN from this RIPPOFF>ben Laudin is probably smiling at the millions of USD, et al, that are flowing out of the country, and choking out economy.

My Bank is verified & the funds came out over (4) days ago - Is PAYPAL sitting on it for interest? The "Ask Peggy" is a poor excuse for customer service! We are not idiots - we now it s automated!

Is PAYPAL like the old Phone Companies...the only choice? Remember they were finally regulated and now we have choices!

I just called paypal about The same problem I am having. He informed me the pay pal contacts the federal reserve to get the money from your bank account and the federal reserve obtains the money from your bank account and then the federal reserve sends the money to pay pal. This long and ineficient process can take three to six buisness day. No saturdays or sundays count. Lazy buts, how hard could it be to transfer money? I'm not too impressed with paypal right now. but just informing you the process.
