PayPal Community

I do have a problem with PayPal holding the money for 21 days. I have been an Ebay member for almost 10 years and have a 100% feedback and have worked hard to keep that feedback. I don't get the part that because there are a few scammers, as there are everywhere, that you punish everyone. This is absolutely ridiculous. I honestly just had 3 items sell and I can't even tell if I have been paid, have not been paid, or what the status is. Why? Were there no scammers on Ebay before? The only thing I can see is PayPal covering its own **bleep** at the buyer and sellers expense to make sure they don't take the hit. So who wins with this new system, PayPal. Sorry PayPal. No more will I go thru this crap for a $5.00 item. You win. I quit! ... View more

I am the seller of 2) items which just recently ended on Ebay and the buyers say "payment pending". I have called Ebay and PayPal as to wether or not I have received payment and their response was I need to contact buyer to see if they have sent it. What? I'm going to ask the buyer and just go on their say so that they paid. What the **bleep** happened to PayPal? They have not a clue!!! This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I also am waiting on PayPal to resolve a dispute. This Ebayer ( who was new and only had 2 feedbacks) purchased my item on a Saturday night. Of course Post Office is closed on Sunday and Monday was Presidents Day so closed again, so I shipped item out with tracking number 1st available day, Tues 2/22/11, and Wednesday buyer opened a dispute. Since then Buyer has received product and even left positive feedback but PayPal has not made any restitution. I provided them with tracking # as well as info above and here I wait.
