Unrecognized checking account added

When I linked my Wells Fargo bank account, a separate Chase checking account got added that I didn't recognize. I've never opened up a checking account with Chase before. I was on the phone with PayPal at the time and they completely avoided the question even after I repeated it about five times.

In this case, I would recommend you contact your bank to confirm the bank account type that you have and then remove the bank with the help of this Help Center Article. Make sure to change the password and security questions for your account safety. If you still see the unrecognized activity, you will have to contact the PayPal Customer Support Team again so that our representatives can review and investigate your account.
