Can't send crypto

s it even possible to send crypto to an external wallet, I only get a very general error from paypal even thou i have bitcoin, have a valid bitcoin address to send to, have verified my personal info. Only get some general error message like "cannot do this transaction at this time" what a joke! I;m very experienced and am doing this all correctly and its obvious its a problem within paypal. So all said and done i got ripped off for fees having to sell my bitcoin back to cash and just use my current exchange. Utterly zero help from paypal and zero knowledge from customer service, that means zero chance that you have my business going forward. Thanx for no help with your services

I've been trying over a month now, maybe everyday to try to send a Bitcoin transaction to my external wallet. I keep getting the 'Something went wrong, this happens sometimes - trying again may help fix the problem' message. This looks like it's been going on for more than 6 months now, I think it's time Paypal fixes this.

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues transferring your crypto out of PayPal. Can you confirm what country your PayPal account is registered in? Depending on where  your PayPal account is registered, you may or may not have the option to transfer your Crypto out of your PayPal account.

Thank you for your reply! Crypto currency transfers feature may be disabled on your account due to a variety of factors. You cannot make a transfer if there's any negative balance, pending crypto purchases in your account. Crypto purchased with a debit card will be instantly available to transfer. If this is not the case, you could be running into our security system. If the system deems any risk, it may temporarily block the activity from going through. I recommend that you to try again at a later date by clearing your cache and cookies from your internet browser or try to use a different internet browser/device. If the issue persists, please reach out to our team through the available contact options at the bottom of PayPal page for additional assistance.

This continues to be an issue. I was able to transfer out Bitcoin but now I get the error message every time for ETH. And I've waited several weeks and am way below the 10K limit. The crypto experience is garbage - telling clients to try another browser or click random help button - that is no way to run a finance company. Can you route me to an escalation contact within PayPal?

this is probablly the worst answer there is. you are saying well too F bad, its your problem on your side, F off. i have this same issue and its a F nightmare. IT. NEVER. STOPS. DO NOT EVER BUY CRYPTO ON PAYPAL

I was able to ALMOST transfer to my wallet but nope, "A technical error occurred"

I have never been able to transfer out.

At the very least paypal could tell us what error it encountered instead of saying "technical error".

I've been getting the same and support is just ignoring me. This is really concerning, I wonder what they're doing with our money in the meantime.
