Add a creditcard to my Paypal account and delete the old one

Hello,

I have a new creditcard. I want add this creditcard to my Paypal account.

But first i want to delete my old creditcard who is at the moment connected with my Paypal account.

I tried, but this doesn’t work.

How can i do this?

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulty that you've faced with managing the cards on your account. If there is only one card on your account, you may need to add and confirm the new one first before the old one can be removed. Additionally, if there are any recurring payments or billing agreements associated with the current card, they may need to be switched to the new card before it can be removed. Lastly, if there is a pending transaction, whether the card is associated as the primary or backup payment method, that will need to resolve completely before the current card can be removed.

Hi @PayPal_Olivia thanks a lot. The article has helped me definitely. Also the old card is removed.

So now my card question is solved, how can i add money from my creditcard to my Paypal account?

It seems i only can add money to my Paypal account via Bancontact and that is not via my credit card.

I'm so glad you were able to get the card issue resolved! I'll be happy to help with your question about adding funds. Funds cannot be advanced from a card into your PayPal account. You can add funds via a bank. However, a card can be used to fund a payment, and a payment can be made without first adding funds. When you make the payment, select the card as the payment method, and you can choose to make it your default payment method for future purchases then as well.
