I successfully added my bank account to Paypal using Payoneer since it's the only way to receive money through Paypal in Egypt, and confirmed it also successfully, so now when I try to add my Paypal to freelancer.com it says to me :
There is no funding source added to your PayPal account. Please add a card to continue
Add a payment method
I asked freelancer.com about the issue they told me only Paypal can fix this from their end I tried many times to contact Paypal support but it's useless no one is available all the time, I actually broke since corona and fighting to do anything to work and get money to live so please Paypal support help me.

Is the Payoneer card a Visa? You need a Visa card for Egypt. See PayPal Receive Funds and Automatic Transfer Agreement.

I didn't link my PayPal with a Payoneer card, I linked Payoneer with my bank account in Egypt it's visa yes, and used an American bank account from Payoneer to link it with my Paypal and it's successfully added. 
the idea here is not about visa or debit cards < Paypal payment doesn't reed that I already added a bank account when I try to pay something.
it's kinda silly that I found more than 100 + having the same issue but Paypal is kinda silent and not doing any efforts or even add this situation to his support system to find a solution.

Paypal does not support Payoneer (or other virtual banks), you can sometimes add an account but it won't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.

there are thousands using the same method in Egypt, PayPal only accepts the FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK COMMUNITY from Payoneer, the problem is with Paypal not from Payoneer.
Can anyone give me a method on how to contact Paypal support!

Yep they can sometimes add an account but it won't work properly and will eventually fail, paypal consistently states they do not accept payoneer.

I am getting same error tonight, just trying to purchase something. Like paypal is not reading my card^^ As I saw it is not new problem but I found no solution so far.

hi had the same problem, what worked for me is when I never transfer the full amount that was available on my paypal. for example if you have 15usd available try transferring 14usb and you wont get the error message stating there is no funding source
