Is there any way I can temporarily remove a card from being the preferred method?

Is there any way I can temporarily remove a card from being the preferred method? I'm not asking to remove the card from my wallet/account entirely, just remove it as the preferred payment method.

Yes, you can switch to another preferred payment method and switch back later.

Go to Settings > Payments > Online Transactions > Change

I tried that already, the service won't let me change the card because the only other one I have in my wallet "can't be verified" and I was given a 3-5 business day wait-time before the card could be verified.
