I made a standard transfer from my UK business PayPal to my UK bank account (Wise) on 24 August.. PayPal tells me it will arrive on 1st September. That's 8 days and totally unacceptable. I know the problem is not with Wise bank because they do same-day transfers from my USA bank account. Any thoughts as to why it now seems to take more than a week in the UK to get money out of PayPal?

The Standard transfer typically completes in 1 working day. Sometimes, depending on your bank's clearing process, it may take 3-5 working days.

Paypal does not support Wise / Payoneer (or any other virtual banks).
Whilst you can sometimes add an account it wouldn't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.
If you do succeed then Paypal wouldn't be responsible for any missing funds to or from that virtual / digital bank account.

Hmm. That's odd. I run two businesses. One in the USA and one in the UK, and both have their paypal accounts linked with Wise. I have not had any problems in the past. The only issue at present is the 8 days that Paypal says are needed to send money to my Wise account.
