Paid for item on Etsy but purchase doesn't show up.

I purchased an item on Etsy, which shows up on PayPal as a completed transaction. However, the purchase does not show up on Etsy. It's like it never existed, but someone has my money. Have I been scammed?

I just purchased from Etsy using paypal as payment and I don't see the order. I was wondering if your order was received because I seem to have the same issue.

As @kernowlass mentioned, The instructions in that article can guide you in opening a dispute if you do not receive an item (thanks kernowlass!). However, I have one other thought, from my own experience with Etsy.

One time I forgot which of my email addresses I used to open my Etsy account, and ended up making a second account without meaning to. From time to time, I accidentally log into the second account and conduct a transaction without realizing it's not my main account. Then when I go to look for the order on my regular account, I'm briefly confused. I don't know if this matches your situation, but just in case I'm not the only one, it's something to check!
