Limit Increase & then again Lower Limit

Hello,

Greetings. We all know PayPal imposes limitation on how much sales you make per month. I was given $3,300 this month earlier & I requested an increase. The request was approved.

I got this on 16 November 2023 after My Request:

Your amount of instantly available funds has just increased

Good news! We've reviewed your request and are giving you instant access to $9,900.00 USD in sales per month, up from $3,300.00 USD. We’ll make funds from additional sales available as soon as we confirm those orders are fulfilled.

On 24 November 2023 I got this:

The rest of this month’s funds won’t be available straight away

We've noticed you’ve made $2,900.00 USD in sales this month. This means that for now, funds from additional sales won’t be available straight away.

We’ll make sales above $2,900.00 USD available to you as soon as we confirm those orders are fulfilled. You should have instant access to another $2,900.00 USD in sales starting next month. Keep in mind that we revisit this amount regularly, so it may change.

Why PayPal keeps changing the limit every now & then & with a big amount in change. Anyone have any idea ?

Regards.

Hello @ehostlab

Welcome back to the PayPal Community!

I'm sorry to hear that you received a hold limit increase, and then shortly after, an update shows there was a decrease. You can learn more about why holds are placed and how to lift them on our Help Center, but to get to the bottom of what happened with your increase, I suggest reaching out to Customer Support. We have a few different options for Customer Support listed on our Help Center here

I hope your limit is fixed soon!
