Issues with Refunds in Australia

Hello, i am looking to issue a full refund for the transaction: . I am trying to do it via my confirmed bank, but every time i see an error: You don't have enough money in your balance to complete this refund.

I have read the refund policy and it is stated that i can issue a full refund using my bank account, it is not necessary to have balance on a paypal. I have read many forums and i am not alone who is experiencing such kind of problems. Please raise to a tech team because we dont have the full functionality as stated in PayPal and this may effect the reputation of Paypal.

 

P/s i was recommended to add balance - but i cant, i want to have the possability to issue a refund using the button, otherwise why it is there?

 

pp/s after 4 weeks it started to work but not fully, more over when you process a refund, Paypal doesnt charge it from my bank! I have tried several banks in australia and still the same problem!

I have the same problem as for now, trying to issue a refund to a friend of mine, i have even linked a new bank account in order to to do so, but have 100% the same error you are talking about!!! That is really disappointing, the support instead of fix the problem tells me not to use this functionality but do it in another way!!

I have same issue in US. The advice I got from the support to add money does not solve the problem. What's the point of this feature if it doesn't work? 😐

Welcome to PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear there's been some confusion with a recent refund attempt. I can understand how concerning receiving an error like this must be. If you do not have enough funds in your PayPal account balance to fund a refund, the refund would normally need to be funded by a confirmed bank account. If you don't have a confirmed bank on your PayPal account already, here's how to add and confirm a bank.

Unfortunately that is not true, we all have confirmed bank account but still the issue persist!

More over i have refunded 2 transactions with a confirmed bank, but i cant refund any other else! That issue is going from September if you care about reputation of paypal, please raise the problem to a higher level. Thanks

Of course I have linked and confirmed bank on my paypal account as you can see it on the screenshot that I attached. But unfortunately for some reason it doesn't solve the problem for over the month.

Hello friends, i have the same issue. I am sorry but reaching out to Customer Support for further assistance in investigating what may be happening is not helping. They dont know anything. They say - add money to your balance and refund, but it is impossible. Seems that paypal doesnt care about us, more over they dont care that the part of the functions is not working.

Honestly you cant be serious;

 

First of all you don't answer back when messages are sent am more than 60 hours waiting.

Second the number (phone number) is not available when your calling from Kenya.

Third scroll down for the different option is a joke because all options fail.

Same. Cant work at all, why paypal dont react? Customer service can do nothing! Even raise the problem to a tech team.
