Just refunded a buyer in full however I had a fee deducted for the payment but ive had to cover the full refund!!
Is this right?
i still have my item but I've lost money as Paypal don't seem to refund their fees
any help appreciated

Yes, that is correct. PayPal no longer refunds their fees. You’d have to refund only the amount you received to avoid that but the buyer may take issue with a partial refund, opening dispute to get the rest of the money so best to discuss it with buyer before deducting fee amount from their refund. Even then they might change their minds and dispute.
