I've TRIED to set up Direct Deposit 3 times and Paypal didn't allow me to do so!

I've tried, as in more than twice to set up DIRECT deposit, and using the ROUTING numbes given to me in my 22 year account... was denied Direct Deposit, all three times!
SO... are the provide ROUTING numbers, given to me by Paypla wrong, or doesn't Paypal want Direct Deposit any longer to be used?
I had DIRECT Deposit with Paypal for at least 5 years, and would LOVE to move it back to Paypal again!
AND I'd really LOVE to TALK to a LIVE BEING and not play chat with an AI chat bot, whom has NEVER helped in any actual CONTACT with "live" human beings!

I understand you're having difficulty setting up direct deposit, and I'm sorry for the frustration it has caused you. There are a few tips in this Help Center article that you may find useful. If those do not help, I suggest reaching out to Customer Support by selecting 'Contact' at the bottom of the PayPal website. You can view additional options for contacting Customer Support here.
I hope you're able to set up direct deposit soon!

Hello .... I was emailed by PP support, and told be to ""CLICK 3. Set up Automaticly,""
BUT there is NO choice#. . ."3. Set up Automaticly," on three different browser... 1. Brave 2. Vivaldi nor 3. Firefox that I could "SEE" any choice #3.. on anyone of those three different browsers, and more than 4 times in a six month peroid!
SO.....if....# "3. Set up Automaticly," realy exists, than it must be on a brower that we security geeks, wont, and don't use for any reason what so NEVER!
SO.... which means, to us clients, me for 21 Years Plus.... still can not set up Direct Deposit on our security browsers because #1, and #2 just do not go all the way thru to finish setting up "Direct Deposit!"
And the kind person that CALLED and left a call recording in my email also mentioned the Direct Deposit "3 set up automaticly.... that still NOT showing on our browsers (pural,) anywhere, at any time!
So.... thank you and any one else whom offered support. REALLY.... but no fix was found to set up Direct Deposit to get to the sharing with SS Admin.

Hello, Megan or anyone else that...may be in "support!"
I know you all might be more busy, than a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs,
but I've been "trying" to set up "Direct Deposit" since LAST YEAR... and for longer than waiting for support to fix this situation that many not so loyal customers, my wander OFF to set up "Direct Deposit!"
Expecally because I'm retireing in Mexico, and want to USE PAYPAL, for my "Direct Deposit' for my SS funds!
Reson is because PP does not need a Phone number to sign into accounts and since mine is NOW a +52 prefix than getting a TEXT to sign in is totally Out of the Question! And beside many might want to "Direct Deposit" whom LIVE in other countries!

Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. Welcome back! if you are retiring in Mexico, you will need to open a Mexico-based PayPal. I'm sorry to say you will not be able to use a US-based PayPal account if you are no longer living in the US. Unfortunately, the option to use Direct Deposit is not available for our customers in Mexico.
