I can no longer receive money from France

I'm located in California. All of a sudden, I can no longer receive money from France. I have made no changes to my account. I tried texting with the employees but they seemed to know less than me. Help please!

Sorry to hear that you're not able to receive payments to your PayPal account. You wouldn't be having any issues with receiving payments from any country if you have verified PayPal account with no pending actions left. I recommend you to check your resolution center or the notifications for any pending actions left in your account. Once you complete the actions, you will be able to resume the activities of sending/receiving payments in your account. If your account is up to date, please reach out to our Support Team to get this checked further.

My account has no holds and it has been verified. Still, the problem persists. PayPal must have made some changes after Oct. 2023 that is affecting my receiving money from Europe.

Thanks for the additional information. I have confirmed there have been no updates or changes after Oct 2023 regarding sending / receiving money between French and US accounts. If there are no actions which require your attention in the Resolution Center, and nothing has changed regarding your email confirmation or account verification, the issue may be on the sender's end.
From time to time, our security system may prevent a payment from being sent based on it's assessment of the transaction as a whole. There may not be one specific thing flagging it, but you may want the sender reach out to our Customer Support teams to see if anything is blocking it. If you haven't already, you may also wish to send an invoice to the sender to see if that helps.
