Hi
I had an email from Epic games saying that I was due a refund which would be issued via Hyperwallet.
Following to given Hyperwallet link, I filled out my bank account details but page just gave me an error at the tope of the page that helpfully just said "error code".
Apparently I can't email Hyperwallet support unless I have a HW account, which I don't have. On the HW login screen, entering my email and clicking 'send activation code' just resends the original Epic email with the same link to claim my refund. No activation email is sent.
The HW support page says I can email them if I first log in - which I can't do as I need an account first, which I can't get an activation code for.
I tried the HW phone lines but they are continuously busy with "longer tha usual wait times'.
I've tried Epic Game support, which redirect me back to HW, so Im stuck in a circle.
How do I resolve this please?

UPDATE: Quixel support (part of Epic) have been very helpful with this and said "Some users experience issues with submitting information for claims on the Hyperwallet page; we have received confirmation that the problem has been resolved".
I can verify it works for me now.
Also, once successfully being able to complete the payment request takes you to the create account page, so only then can you contact support.
I hope this post may help others.
Thank you

Try putting your paypal email address in to claim the funds as that identifies your paypal account?

Thank you for your quick response - the HW screen does not let me do this unfortunately. The Epic system has all my details - payments were taken out by PayPal monthly when on their Quixel subscription (now deprecated) - but the only refund mechanism they offer is by HW. It only wants my bank account sort code/ account number and name but when I submit this page it just gives my an error in a red box at the top of the page that just says "Error code", so Im completely stuck. HW help is unreachable without an account, which I cannot create for this refund.

If this is for the Epic refund - you have to enter your actual bank account in the refund screen. I only posed on here as PayPal own HyperWallet who handle the payout. Hope this helps.
